President Ankvab Ratifies Free Trade Deals with Russia

On Monday, December 23, Alexander Ankvab signed the Law of the Republic of Abkhazia on the Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Government of the Russian Federation on trade regime.

The People's Assembly – the Parliament of the Republic of Abkhazia passed the law on December 23.

The agreement establishes the duty-free regime of importing goods with the exception of sugar, alcohol and tobacco.
