Abkhaz Foreign Ministry sent a note of condolence to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent a note of condolence to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in connection with the terrorist attack that took place on December 19 this year, in Ankara.

The note, in particular, reads:

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia strongly condemns the daring and provocative act of terror, which resulted in killing of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Turkey Andrey Karlov.

We hope that customers and organizers of the terrorist act will suffer deserved severe punishment.

The name of Andrey Karlov will be inscribed in the history of diplomacy as an example of selfless service to the Motherland.

We express our sincere condolences to the families and friends of the deceased, as well as colleagues of Andrey Gennadievich."
