Abkhazia Aims for Closer Collaboration with the UAE

SUKHUM / AQW'A — Inal Ardzinba, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia, is currently attending the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, which commenced on June 14 and will run until June 17.

Abkhazia has expressed a keen interest in bolstering its economic ties with the United Arab Emirates (UAE), as declared by Inal Ardzinba, the head of the Republic's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the sidelines of the prestigious forum. The Media Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs relayed this statement.

"The Republic of Abkhazia is fully committed to advancing our investment and economic relations with the Emirates, and we are prepared to exert all necessary efforts towards this goal. We enjoy a productive dialogue with our counterparts from the UAE, and I am confident that we will succeed in establishing the requisite conditions to foster robust investment and economic cooperation," stated Minister Ardzinba.

He underscored the UAE's independent foreign policy course, which holds significant relevance in the ongoing formation of a multipolar international system.

According to the Media Center, reciprocal business missions between Abkhazia and the UAE are in the pipeline, providing entrepreneurs with an invaluable opportunity to explore potential avenues for bilateral engagement.
