On 28 May, at the invitation of the CCI of the Republic of Abkhazia, tour-operators and representatives of tourist-businesses in Turkey arrived on a visit to Abkhazia. Over two days excursions to the outstanding sites of the republic were organised for the visitors by operatives of the CCI of the Republic of Abkhazia.

The President has held a meeting on the execution of the budget. According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Finance Vladimir Delba implementation of the budget made 85, 5 percent in January-April. For this period the state budget has received Rub 104 million less.

The President has received the president of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Abkhazia Gennady Gagulia.

On 26 February, at the Foreign Ministry of Abkhazia there took place the signing of a renewed Agreement on Cooperation Between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia.

Alexander Ankvab has held a meeting on a possible introduction of value added tax for imported goods.
